Are you sure you know everything there is to know before watching the Black Widow movie? Well, we got you!
First ever look (poster) of the Black Widow movie.
Now, if you’ve watched Avengers: Endgame (2019), you probably know that this Russian assassin, known by the name Natasha Romanoff, dies in the film due to jumping off a cliff in Vormir. BUT her journey doesn’t stop there. Black widow has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over 10 years, and now in 2020, shes finally getting her own movie!
Black Widow (2020) is an upcoming american superhero film based on the Marvel Comic’s character Natasha Romanoff. It is to be the twenty-fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film was directed by Cate Shortland. The movie is set after Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War (2016), and the film sees Romanoff on the run and forced to confront her past, meeting her previous family: Yelena Belova, Alexei (Red Guardian), and Melina Vostokoff.
Marvel’s Black Widow movie features Taskmaster as its main villain. Taskmaster, according to the Marvel Comics, has a special power called “photographic reflexes.” If he sees someone perform an action, as long as it is a human movement, he can do the same on command. That explains why him and Romanoff‘s movements during the brief fighting teasers in the trailer were so similar, and why she seems so puzzled and worried.
The trailer lightly skims through flashbacks Romanoff has, and what the entire movie is going to circle around: Natasha getting in touch with her family again while being chased by someone – Taskmaster.
